"The food on Saturday night was absolutely amazing and the service fantastic! It was great how each course was explained and loved every bit of it Breakfast was excellent and was very impressed with the service provided by TataniaI requested a caramel latte to which she replied that they don't do flavoured lattes so she made a special request to the chef and he made up some caramel sauce for me. The following morning I came in for breakfast and she had already organised some caramel for my latte! Thank you for your amazing service and the hot chocolate bounty Will definately be returning to Doot Doot Doot!"

"The Heritage Tavern was a literal oasis in an otherwise culinary desert at Balnarring. The menu despite being quite limited was high in quality and very reasonably priced. We opted for the pizzas which were superb and incredibly cheap given the quality. Overall highly recommended!"

"Dropped into Phase Two over the weekend after staying at a friends holiday house in Merricks. This café has a funky modern feel to it with a lot of people eating in or waiting for takeaway coffees, which is always a good sign. <br/ <br/ On the first day we only ordered take away coffees and they certainly didn 't disappoint, delicious and creamy. Looking at everyone 's dishes while waiting for the coffee we decided to come back the following day to eat breakfast. <br/ <br/ The place was super busy and we sat down at a large communal table, however it was large enough to have our own privacy. As we were in a little bit of a rush, I ordered straight away. Had coffee 's again and to be honest probably nicer having them in than the takeaways from the previous day....or maybe I was just caffeine deprived!<br/ <br/  We ordered the Phase Two special house benedict $22) which comprised of pulled pork, poached eggs, hollandaise and a corn salsa, resting on a lightly toasted croissant. The house made hollandaise was absolutely delicious and the eggs perfectly poached. I was sceptical about the croissant as I usually love a mean sourdough however it worked beautifully with the pulled pork and something I would never think to team together when cooking at home. 9/10 for originality. <br/ <br/ We also ordered the 'Hurley 's Hero ' $18) which was zucchini fritters which were really light and fluffy and not like other generic fritters I have had from other cafes, poached eggs, beetroot hummus, salmon rillette, cabbage and dukkah. Again another knockout dish with eggs on point, and all the flavour combinations just simply working!<br/ <br/ With definitely be back when in Merricks again as the whole menu sounds delectable and would highly recommend anyone passing by or staying around this area to eat in. Staff were very friendly and attentive even when it was super busy. Keep up the great work guys!"

"I was really disappointed at my stay in jackalope. it has not lived on the hype and absolutely was not worth the money. we booked a second package for just under $2000 and were so disappointed. the room was in the round an average hotel room with views of a parking lot. the bathroom in the room is awesome, but when they remove that there is only one floor standard hotel room with white bed linen on the bed and a gray two sitting couch in the corner. yawn. put them art on the walls. some nice bed linen and furniture. there was also no place to sit and eat when they order room service. they sit on either the couch or the bed to eat their meal. $1,000 per night and you can't give me a room big enough to contain a table? they booked a private function on the main day we were there that was via the main restaurant. it meant that they couldn't get the hotel on or off without going through the private function of another. so they can feel their guests welcome! it also meant that there were functional guests who were milling around in the pool area, while my partner and I tried to use it, which made me very uncomfortable when I was in my bikini and there was a group of young in suit that hang around me, beer drinking from their recipe. not hotel guests, only people who were there for lunch we could not come to lunch in the restaurant, not even go up. we went into the bar that looked open and the people sat in t eating and were kicked out because it was closed and they were co-workers. we asked if we could order room service and sit in the bar, but that wasn't okay. only the staff was allowed to do this, not the paying guests. So we went back to our room and ate our room service on our bed. We tried to walk in the night into the bar, waited 10 minutes for someone to come over and serve us, who then informed us that it was 11.05 and closed them at 11. there were still baptized people in the bar, but we were not allowed to stay and drink. we also asked if the staff of the reception pandadol had that they could give us one tomorrow, and they just told us that they didn't do it and there was an iga on the road when we needed it. so helpful! if you calculate this type of travel, you need to raise the service. we just spent the weekend with Snobby staff talking to us and treating us as if they didn't want us there. they will miss it in any case."
