"Nice place to have a drink or two. The music can be a little loud sometimes for my old ears but the younger patrons clearly love this place. Super service and good selection of wines. Mulled wine especially good in these colder months."

"Love it. I want to buy this bar and live in it, so I can keep reliving the awesomeness which is George's Bar. Thank you for an amazing night filled with laughter, tasty food, great tunes, and long chats. From the hilariously oversized and beautiful George mural on the outside wall to the great little Seinfeld figurines dotted around inside, George's Bar takes you to another place; Awesomenessvillia. The theme is cool, the surfaces are clean, the atmosphere is chilled, and the bar staff are the most friendly and passionate group of people I've met in a long time. The toasties are delightful (I had 3, and would've had more if my pesky stomach would simply expand), the craft beers are very moderately priced, and the simplicity of the menu is refreshing and clever. The Monday trivia night was fantastically hosted and a genuine laugh for all. The toilets are clean (a rarity in most pubs), and the decor makes you want to just walk around and look at everything while you sip your drink. The people who run this bar are a credit to the industry (the owner, the bar staff and anyone else involved) and my only negative is that there are not more bars like it...everywhere. I travelled 2 hours to get to George's Bar and would've travelled another 6. If you've watched at least one episode of Seinfeld, go to this bar. If you haven't, go to this bar. If you don't even like bars or have had a bad experience at one, go to this bar. I will be back."

"Had an absolute blast at this place. Dance floor is intimate but it adds to the atmosphere, and the DJs were on point. Only complaint is my sore feet walking home at 4am"

"Honestly, the place is super nice. All the wines on the walls are amazing and I would look at them for hours. We had some oysters to start with the happy hour promotion and as we weren't really hungry we only had a cheese board and then a chocolate pudding. The wine that I had was really nice and 13$ by the glass was a fair price for a French wine. What this place should improve, and the reason why it gets 3.5, it's the service. I would definitely expect something more consistent, but it seems like they are a bit lost around the restaurant. It doesn't look like a casual place and the service that I would expect would be more upgraded."

"Dinner with friends - eclectic mix of shared plates including salt and pepper veges, green olives dusted with fennel, burrata, pumpkin and finished with pork and flank steak. All the meals were very enjoyable.Dessert of caramel apple ice cream was sensational! Huge wine list - in fact too large, and, to be honest, expensive (average $80 per bottle)(and nothing that you would recognise!)Service was excellent, but probably didn't make up for the costs...."
