"Ordered takeout - threw it away. I have worked near this restaurant on & off for over 10 years but never tried it after having a bad experience at a Hunan on the South side. I finally tried it today b/c I was tired of the other options (not many) in the area. My first instinct was correct, the food was inedible. I threw it out and I am NOT a picky eater.<br>

I ordered the lunch combo with Sesame chicken, fried rice, egg roll and egg drop soup. The fried rice was not fried, it was red, I can't even think of what they used on it that would make it red. Even a healthy dose of soy sauce couldn't save the rice. I don't know what they used for their sesame chicken, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't chicken, it looked more like pork and it was the driest, fattiest, grisliest pieces they could possibly find. The sauce was typical sesame sauce. The egg roll was nothing but cabbage and was the only thing I could finish even though I wouldn't describe it as good. I didn't bother...

"So just wanna take a moment to give a shout out to the amazing employees Panda Express on nw 23rd and penn on shift between 12:30 and 1pm today. Someone walked in to the restaurant and stole my lunch while I was getting a drink. One of the customers told the employees and they replaced my lunch. I offered to pay, but they told me I didnt have to. They definitely impressed me in that situation! I am very greatful, because I was super hungry."

"Usually empty at lunch time. I popped in here for a quick exploratory lunch since I've never been there before. It was noon and there was only one customer sitting at a table....an omen?<br/>I got their item lunch special, and an elderly man and lady served me from some lonely looking steam trays with food that apparently had been there awhile. The broccoli was shrunken and soggy and the sweet and sour chicken didn't look appealing. Being the good little soldier I finished off the food and found it to be pretty average at best.<br/>They really should prepare to order, the cafeteria concept doesn't work when your customer base is a trickle."

"This has become my bf and I's go to Asian restaurant!It has a great variety of different tastes from Chinese dishes to pho. And I have yet ordered something I didn't love. Everything is cooked to perfection and flavors are savory without being too oily. Food 1. Chicken eggplant: absolutely perfect eggplant dish, chicken was very soft 2. Fried rice: wok seared fried rice! Fried rice was actually one of my favorite parts of the meal. 3. Pho: meat was cooked perfectly and broth is rich but not overpowering, noodles were great 4. Spicy chicken: wasn't expecting it to be fried but still very tasty, sweet and spicy (it's not really spicy in my opinion)5. Hot and sour soup: a little too sour Clean and amazing service as well! Our waiter and other waiters were very attentive."

"Go for the noodles.. This place offers a variety of Asiatic cusine. The service is best during prime dining hours. Family dining meals are given the best service by far. Consider going with a larger group if you would like to have the best possible experience at this restaurant. Order a family dinner for 8 to 16 people at a round table. It's good to book it in advance. If you are dining on your own try the dumplings and a combination flat noodle. If you like it spicy state your case very firmly. They are timid when it comes to adding heat for Americans. Overall this place provides good quality food for the price and an average dining experience. The menu offers in excess of 100 entree options. The fermented fish is a must have if you are doing the family dinner."

"I said I'd never come back after a bad previous experience but thought I'd give it a second chance.<br>

My mistake. Not only had the food not improved, I discovered a sharp metal object in my serving of beef broccoli - upon further examination it turned out to be a acupuncture needle. Alarmed, we notified the staff - who picked the needle out of the serving of beef broccoli, examined it with great curiosity and interest - and left with it, never to return to our table.<br>

The manager asked us if we had lost our appetites. To say the least."

"Had lunch here for the first time yesterday with some coworkers and needless to say, we definitely didn't come close to 'cleaning our plates', I sent back the first plate of food I got, horrible presentation and the food had no flavor nor color for that matter. The second plate was at least edible to an extent. My coworkers didn't finish anything on their plates either. To top it off, our waitress was beyond extremely rude. Not one smile, thank you, "How is everything?", NOTHING! She seemed pissed we were there 'bothering her'. <br>
I'm definitely not returning."
