"This bakery is very close to my house so I often visit it. they have always been a wonderful selection of cakes, cookies, quiche. sandwiches and other benign. some of their dishes can be quite bland and underwhelming, while others are simply delicious. it is quite expensive, but in the way it is worth it. service is super friendly but sometimes very slow"

"Huber Haus is beer corners German offering. I 've been coming here a few years now and frankly I 'm sad they got rid of the german food menu and now just run on the crescent moon menu. That having been said, I still enjoy this tiny bar in the basement and I keep coming back to it. This bar only servers german style beers, so if you want something else, you are better off going upstairs to the crescent moon alehouse for a larger selection. The huber haus however is the only place in beer corner that you can get a 2 litre boot of beer to drink with your friends at your table. The boot is a right of passage and comes with its own set of rules, it is not for the faint of heart. A few times a year this bar also hosts a hammerschlaggen league that they call Huberschlaggen which is a lot of fun to play in and is certainly one of the things that keeps me coming back."

"V. Mertz has been a favorite place for me for six years. I love her menu and although it changes, you are always there for a big surprise! The food is excellent every time. The atmosphere there is also very romantic and perfect for a date night. David is usually our waiter and he is amazing! He is always at the top of things and even remembers the food we ordered last time! He goes beyond and beyond and makes our experience at V.Mertz the coolest!"

"Very good even if you have to pay for your own meal. This is a classic expense account joint. Been 3 times; last tie was on my own dime. Even though it was expensive, I felt like it was worth it Risotto was as good as any I have had anywhere. Lobster was good. Wife's steak was cooked to near perfection. Potato crusted scallop app w/caviar was nice balance of crunchy-silky-savory-saucy excellence Service was good, with nice consideration of timing between all courses Menu here is always good, and the wine list is top notch, and only slightly overpriced A tip from previous visits: don't let the staff suggests a wine, or build an appetizer' without asking the price....read more"

"If we could give another star. We would. The wine is incredible. We had the waygu skirt steak and the duck. It was cooked to perfection and taste like heaven. The atmosphere is intimate and perfect for get togethers with the ladies or date nights. Dessert was unconventional and out of this world. Please stop in to this place. If you want reservations give Emily a call. She's your girl."
