"Arrived from out of town with a group of 7. Great downtown location. The place looked clean and attractive. We sat outside and enjoyed a gorgeous view overlooking the Brant River on a sunny summer Sunday. The coffee was very good and so were the apple fritters, which they appear to specialize in. The tables on the patio were all small and offered two seats, not very welcoming to larger groups. However, they were out of so many things from what already appeared to be a very limited menu to begin with. The service was not the pleasant kind you'd expect from small-town Ontario. And there was prolonged and considerable water hitting the awning coming from something on the floor above that was extremely annoying. In summary small changes can easily make this place an ideal 5 out of 5, but on this occasion no more than a 3 or 3.5."

"We went on Saturday for the car show, they have lots of room to park the vehicles. While we were there we enjoyed the best milkshake for a great price. This is such a nice little retro diner. Glad we found this little gem."
