"We booked Rio's for an office Christmas party and to say we were disappointed would be a huge understatement. Firstly, the food was sub-par. I've been to many Brazilian BBQ restaurants and this was horrible. On the night we attended the restaurant they were very busy with other Christmas parties. However, it was clear they had tried to use the cheapest possible ingredients to make the most out of their guests. That would have been fine if the cost reflected the menu however we paid almost $70 per person so expected more than some microwaved ham and sausages. The ham was a 'ham steak' and we were offered sausages no less than 8 times. The lamb and beef was served to only half of our table and was tough and plain with no flavour. The chicken was the same- only three of us were able to try it as the waiter ran out after serving a larger party before us. They never returned with more. The waiters had no idea how to work the room and instead focused their attention on the main tables in the middle meaning that we actually had to track them down and ask if they could please serve our party. The 'sides' were a plate of soggy chips and two pieces of cheese bread- for 14 people!! The drinks process was an absolute shambles!! Despite asking several times if someone could take a drinks order, we gave up and had to wait more than 15 minutes at the bar every single time someone wanted a drink. The process was appalling and it was apparent that none of the staff really knew what was going on. It was highly embarrassing for us as we had invited some clients to share our Christmas party. We elected to have a bar tab on the night and requested to be told when it was nearing the limit. That didn't happen and it was only when we were almost a hundred dollars over that we were told of the amount. At the end of the night, I went to pay the tab to be told that ALL cards (including debit) incurred a FIVE PER CENT SURCHARGE. Money grabbing at it's best. The evening was disappointing. Value for money is non-existent and the food was shocking. Avoid at all costs."

"We had to wait to be seated, but didn't have to wait for long. The staff were quite interactive and kept checking on us. The food was good, we ordered Steak and Barramundi. I liked the non alcoholic cocktails, especially the Blue Lagoon Overall, a good experience and nice ambience."

"Lovely customer service and cheap food!. I have been to this place a few times and the food was well cooked and full of flavor. The portions were very generous and worth the money you pay. The prices are also fairly cheap, the outside area isn't too big which is great because it doesn't get over crowded you don't have to wait in long lines and you are served pretty quick. I recommend this restaurant!"
