"My wife and I stopped in here for breakfast last Saturday to check out the latest version of the Vic, I think we’re on the third iteration now?First, I want to say that all the staff we interacted with here were very nice and friendly, so kudos to them!So the Vic Social has themselves erroneously listed as offering vegan options on trip advisor. Technically, I cannot say that is a lie, but you get two options: tater tots and toast, and if you order the latter without butter then joke’s on you they will still slather it in butter. So I cannot see myself returning.The wife ordered eggs Benedict. She said they were “not bad” and on par with most restaurants but nothing to write home about."

"This wonderful young baker has created our high-time cake a year ago. her aromen are great! Our sample box was adorable and gave us the opportunity to really taste her creations. I had an idea and gave her free herring over everything else. it is amazing what they get when they let creative people make their job! they made my cake dreams come true!"

"Cozy and pretty small cafe, cutely decorated with a menu that offers healthy choices. The four of us ordered the Queen's breakfast plate/no meat at $13.99 which one must pay ahead while ordering. When breakfast came to our table we were all very surprised and disappointed by how extremely tiny the size of the portion of each and every thing included in this breakfast option was. I am a 115 lb. person, not tall and not a person that eats junk food at all, always trying to pick quality over quantity and not minding the price if its worth it. But the price of CDS13.99 absolutely did not match the size of our tiny breakfast. I have eaten breakfast in places where the sizes served are not big, Japan, France, Switzerland, etc but never this small. The coffee was good though."

"What a pleasant surprise! Very laconic menu, I had the soup dujour which was a tomato and beat puree with the fedichini alfredo. Everything was magic, most notably the service. I can't forget the beautiful local pilsner from Parsons brewing co. Dont forget to tip the wait staff."

"Chanced on Gus's whilst window shopping , and we were glad we did . Friendly greeting from the two waitresses , quick presentation of menus and drinks , followed by a great Club sandwich , and a Burger with fries - enough for 4 people , but we dug in and chomped our way through an enjoyable lunch whilst watching Picton main street drift past the window .My only complaint might have been that the a/c was set a bit too low ."

"We loved Blumen! The outside patio is situated in the garden and you have private tables literally in the middle of greenery. It was fantastic! The food was incredible and the service was on point. Definitely going back whenever we visit PEC again."

"On a two night stay in Picton in October, we actually ate at the Café Cortado both nights as we enjoyed it so much. Despite being very busy both nights, they were able to accommodate us and we found the service to be very friendly and attentive. The first night my husband had the blue cod fish, chips and salad, and I had the blue cod pan fried over vegetable risotto both excellent! The second night we did not think we would be lucky enough to get a seat. We had just watched a wonderful parade through the main street of town where some of the team members of the New Zealand's winning America's Cup team were there to show off the cup and the huge crowds began to disperse to bars and restaurants. We were just about to give up as we were told to expect a very long wait, when a lovely gentleman from Dunedin who was just finishing up his meal, offered us his table, and the wait staff encouraged us to go for it. We both enjoyed pizza, a bottle of wine and very good cappucino's to cap it off. We really liked this restaurant, and despite being run off their feet, the staff remained friendly and took good care of us. Would recommend."
