"We were walking by on sat heading to another place to eat. We looked in. It reminded us of an old diner from the late 1960s. We went in as we had never been there before. I am very happy to say it was delicious the prices were very good your portions are great. Over all the place is a gem. It’s not high end. But it is better then high end. It’s good old fashion comfort food. And as for our server. I didn’t get her name. But she was very nice. Also the food came out fast hot and delicious. Do yourself a favour. Eat at Gus,s Family Restaurant. You should not be disappointed"

"Interrupted the gentleman running the place who was busy eating wings and watching TV when we entered. Looked a bit shocked that he had customers. I imagine the construction blocking all traffic out front has nearly killed businessHad a medium Canadian pizza that had good toppings, but a terrible crust that seemed to have been frozen. Not a place I'd likely pop in with family again, but I'd probably try it again if I was by myself. I'd bet the wings are better.On the plus side, nothing else seems to be open in Picton after 8pm on a Friday."
