"There are other quality pizza joints in Portland, but Edgar Street is kind of a hidden jewel. It's how I remember pizza parlours being back in the early 80's when I was growing up. Even though they've fancied the place up a bit and modernised their ordering and payments (in this town that's positively outstanding folks) I still feel like I'm hovering about in their family kitchen. Maybe it's just my bubbly outgoing personality, but after only 5 separate orders they already feel like long time friends. And seriously,the is good."

"Longest wait , 2 hours for our pizza, it wasn't even busy. There were only 2 other tables occupied. Really, who puts chopped ham ( and a mountain load of it ) on a mexican pizza. Only a few slices of mild salami made it resemble a mexican. Schnitzel was burnt and had to ask for our order to be taken. Will never return."

"We wanted fresh fish to cook ourselves, and Peter helped us make a delicious pick. In the time it took us to go next door to get cash out (no EFT), he had fried us a different cut of fresh fish, free of charge. Lovely surprise, great service and amazing product!"
