"This place sells wonderful homestyle (if you live in Alsace) meals in aluminium pans to take away and eat in your rented apartment. A few sample items from October: Oct 14 blanquette de poisson, Oct 16 jarret de veau brasé, Oct 19 roti de port, Oct 21 salmon en sauce, Oct 26 baeckeoffe aux 3 viande, Oct 27 cordon bleu, Nov 3 navarin d'agneau with gnocchi, and many others. The plat du jour changes daily. Each serving is 7€ or 8€, a real bargain for a very generous serving. Go in the morning and reserve your meal to avoid disappointment. This is a take away only, no eat in at all. If you think it might be nice to skip a restaurant night and give the pocketbook a breather, this is a perfect choice. Both proprietors speak fluent English."
