"The food tasted good enough nothing groundbreaking, and I eat and cook a lot of Japanese food, but the actual dealbreaker was the service. we waited one hour, a whole hour, between the first and second cure of our o-makase menu. no explanation, no excuse. Given the very high price of food, this was obviously unacceptable."

"Came across Midori Japanese Kitchen while looking for lunch while working in North Hobart. Wonderful venue decorated with Japanese lanterns and artwork. Service was friendly and the food delightful. It was freshly cooked so my order took a little longer to get to me. But it was worth the wait. Well presented and flavoursome tasty just the way I like it! I highly recommend this place."

"Visited Miyabi with the family. It was very quiet, but that could be because we arrived before 1830. The food was really good, but since the kitchen is so small, they have limited cooking availability. So the food came out gradually and we all ate at different times. That was a little weird!"

"The best culinary experience we had on our journey to hobart. each dish was perfectly boiled/drilled with the right extra flavors. the grilled oysters with elkbutter and the scallop skewers were so good that we entered again and ordered seconds. I would have done the same thing with the Yuzu-Terte if I wasn't so full of the end of the meal! the service is friendly and it is a really cozy restaurant. highly recommended."
