"So glad we stopped from southside when I was in slidell to work my truck on. we had lunch, but it was worth it. my wife had the new orleans muffaletta and I had the Irish channel gumbo. the muffaletta was excellent and was really enough that two people could have ordered and shared. I was interested not only to try the Irish channel gumbo, both the seafood gumbo and the chicken sausage gumbo, but the two gumbums were separated by their potato salad. now I have heard of some sharing from louisiana who serve gumbs with kartoffel salad, but I never had it like that. it was amazing! I noticed that the salates that people ordered me could look amazing next time."

"The service we recieved was great! Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. Any questions I had about the menu she was able to explain in great detail. I went for brunch and had a jalapeño cornbread with a crawfish sauce which was a special appetizer for that day. It wasn't spicy at all, but it was pretty good. The fried gulf oysters was on point. I really enjoyed, along with the sauce! Overall, I had wonderful time dining here, not to mention the ambience and atmosphere was wonderful, I will definitely be back. Next to try will be the Palmettos cheeseburger, I'm told it is very good. I recommend you to give this place a try : ."

"We have been ordering thru menu express lately since take out is the only option for now. We wanted to try Bonnie C’s and we really liked the food and will order from them again! I had the 1/2 baked chicken with mash potatoes and collard greens. My daughter had fried chicken, red beans and mashed potatoes. It was such a huge serving that my wife and her shared it. They even gave us extra gravy. Very impressed! Ordered a steak and sides today. Delicious!"

"We had the 3 part sampler, GREAT spinach dip, good chips. Chicken Tenders were freaking awesome. Then I had the Chicken Pot Pie and she had the cheeseburger with fries. I wish I could remember our waitresses name because she was awesome. Highly recommend Chedders Slidell. Ohhhhh, I almost forgot. To begin with they brought out a absolutely wonderful buttery croissant, mmmm"
