"Fantastic all rounder for Vietnamese food. The prices are quite good too. My picks are the pork vermicelli salad, the beef salad and the bun bo hue. You cannot go wrong here."

"It was my first time here and ordered the vermicelli noodle salad with grilled pork. The weather had been hot/humid for weeks on end, so a spicy pho was a no go for me. <br/ <br/ The place was very well lit, clean, and seating was comfortable enough. The serving size of the salad was quite generous and tasted fresh. In my opinion the dish represented great value for under $12. I was left feeling very full. Although a little more meat would have been appreciated. Then again, I 'm somewhat a Meatasaurus Rex.<br/ <br/ The service wasn 't what I 'd call 'out of this world ', however it was passable: They come to your table. You place order. They take order. They bring food. Done. <br/ <br/ I feel the staff on the day could have cracked a smile here and there to lighten the mood which in my opinion would have made for a better experience. That was the let down for me.<br/ <br/ Thumbs up: <br/ fresh tasting salad<br/ tidy/clean place<br/ great value<br/ <br/ Thumbs down:<br/ stand offish vibe from staff<br/ <br/ Would I go back? <br/ Sure. For a big bowl of vietnamese noodle salad with pork under $12, I can forgive them for being a little expressionless."

"This restaurant is not as popular as the other Vietnamese restaurant in Market Square. It only seems to fill up when the other restaurant has too long a queue to get in. In fourteen years I have only on a handful of occasions seen a...queue at this restaurant, but if I walk past the other one at lunch or dinner time it usually has a queue. This place is more expensive and the food quality is less consistent. Our family has dined at both numerous times over the past decade. I recently had my worst experience at this restaurant. The satay chicken skewers were dry and hard, I don’t think they had been freshly cooked. The meat was almost as hard as the wooden skewer it was served on. This was disappointing because they are usually not that bad at all. The other elements of the meal were quite good. The service is consistently very good. I will return one day, but for now I have been put off"

"I have been here a few times.. and although I have only eaten the one dish again and again (Satay Chicken) I thought it had enough flavour and was really nice.. enough to comment on to friends and they have very generous portions! However, every other time I have dined in.. but one day I went for takeaway and caught a bus home (took a good half an hour extra). By the time I got home, the rice was cold and that day I found the dish to be a little lacking in flavour.. not worth the effort, as well as their takeaway servings were rediculously smaller for what you get when you eat in store and pay the same either way. Haven't been since."
