"This hotel is a hidden gem. From the outside it looks quite ordinary and quite small but inside is just beautiful. I would say it has been refurbished at some point in the last couple of years because everything looks brand new. It is clean,...spacious, modern and comfortable. The bistro is huge and the food is great. There is an indoor/outdoor style kids play area as well as what looked like an outdoor eating area and a massive big undercover barefoot bowls green where anyone can pay to play. They have weekly food specials e.g. Parmigiana night (which I think was about and right now it’s decorated with beautiful Christmas trees, huge baubles and giant snowmen. It’s also open for Christmas Day lunch too bad I already have arrangements otherwise I would be booking. I wish I had taken some photos it looks amazing! Thanks"

"We have been going here regularly for a couple of years now. Recently it has gone downhill. The service is slow, and there was only two other tables and the food is shocking !! I used to recommend this as a place to eat, will not do it again. I sent the food back because my chicken wasn't cooked properly and the manager came over and basically told me I was wrong, he totally disregarded my husband when he said it was pink ! They did take the meal off the bill. However if I don't know the temperature it was cooked at and its pink I am not going to eat it. Too bad Derrimut , you have lost some loyal customers ! Smarten your act up. And get rid of that waitress with the bad attitude !!!"

"I came across this hotels website and noticed $5 steaks all day Thursdays.As I was home due to a medical appointment I decided to have a "cheap" lunch. The venue was less than 10 minutes drive from my home.This deal is offered provided one buys a drink. For Chips and a choice of either salad or veges its an extra $2.50. The cost for me was $15.50 including a pint of draught. Sensational value!Unfortunately my steak was a real disappointment and rather tough but cooked medium as requested. I feel bad complaining about a $5 steak but in reality even though its cheap its should be good enough to encourage one back otherwise what is the point. The sides of chips veges and pepper sauce were very acceptable.They also have a $5 parma day which I may try some time. You can't stuff up a parma can you...or can you? Ill let you know."
