"Ginger Creme Brûlée Tart : Amazing <br/ Apple Crumble Tart : Amazing <br/ Carrot Cake : Great <br/ Cherry Choc Brownie Cookie : Great<br/ Coffee : Great<br/ <br/ The smell of pies from the bakery could literally be smelt from down the street. Walking inside I could literally feel the warmth hug me. Freshly baked bread loaves and desserts were at the ready. Tarts are to literally die for. Specifically the Apple Crumble the Ginger Creme Brûlée. Coffee was good to have on a windy day. Service was great."

"Good brunch joint!<br/>Loved the chicken schnitzel burger and grilled mushroom with spinach and goats cheese. The green shakshuka is so so and the Asian chicken salad is fresh but lacks seasoning. Love the coffee and the breads and patties! The chocolate croissant and the lamb Harissa tart is too die for!"

"Came here with high expectations after hearing great reviews and was disappointed both with quality of the bread and service of the staff.<br>
Waitress had no idea of the breads and wasn't keen on helping us decide what to take home.<br>
At the end her attitude wasn't worth dealing with so we left."

"A hidden gem. I live so close to Foodcraft but never knew it was there until one of my neighbours suggested it for a coffee. <br/ <br/ I took their advice and got a coffee and wasn’t disappointed but the menu looked so good I knew I had to go back. <br/ <br/ The menu has a great variety for such a small kitchen and the service is fast, attentive and friendly."

"This place is a typical French bakery located in Surry hills. In france the bakery are not always a place where you can sit and have a coffe, most of the time it is just a shop where you buy your bread and cakes and go home to enjoy them. La vie est belle reproduce this atmosphere with a little shop but with everything you need for a prefect breakfast. They have variety of bread but I would just say that the baguette is perfect and not expensive for Sydney, which is something very rare. The bread is cryspy and has a perfect taste. The pastries are also what I was expecting when I came here. Just buttery enough and so tasty. I am in love with their pain au chocolat. And if you like éclair I will tell you to give a try to the ones they have because they are really good too"
