"I was invited to a champagne high tea at the American Club Syd and my first impression as I walked in was the panoramic, breathtaking view from the window where we were seated. When the food arrived it was simple and nothing spectacular from most of the high tea places that I've been too but enough to accommodate my tummy as I'm not a big eater myself. It took the waitress almost 45 minutes for our tea to be served, thank goodness I got my champagne first. If only the service was as good as the view then it would been a perfect 10."

"It's ok, but I had much higher expectation for the restaurannt with is so overpriced. Food is ok, atmosphere is average and the place doesn't even look as fancy as on the pictures. Worth visiting, but once in your life is all you need."

"The no frills menu from Betty’s burger allowed us to quickly select our food. Had the Betty’s classic burger and crispy chicken burger. We were blown away by the buttery buns, the juicy Angus beef, the crispy chicken, which came with affordable prices. The unflavoured chips came with a package of salt, the down side is, you have to pay extra for dipping sauce. Service was attentive and friendly. Definitely come back to try the lobster burger! <br/ <br/ I wish they’ll serve drinks in glass rather than disposable plastic cup and plastic straw."

"I just LOVE a good old fashion diner good ole fashion comfort food reinvented with, flavoured batter, layers of toppings, grease, meat, dips and sauces! It gets messy - so that's how you know it's good. I love it here, it's relaxed, casual and is a real stand out on the King Street strip. The Signature WHO'S UR DADDY is a mountainous BURGER of beef, pulled pork, slaw, swiss cheese, bacon which drips out a rich mayo and mustard sauce with every bite! It stands at about 15cm or so high and it's to die for seriously!The CHILLI CHEESY FRIES with Con Carne & Bacon and ONION RINGS were the perfect accompaniment which I'd alternate with each bite of my burger, it added to the excitement of this meal.If you've still got room for more, which I did, try the CHICKEN WINGS with the blue cheese dip (the colour a bit off putting but trust me, dip away cause its awesome). But if you're after a dish that makes a statement, the CHICKEN & BACON WAFFLES is served on a massive chopping board with the meat harpooned with a Steak Knife for you to work it with your waffle. So many choices here, so many flavors to experiment with and so many reasons to come back! Bye Bye Hungry Jacks - this is my new go to!!!"
