"Went here late at night around 9:20pm. It was my first choice restaurant but it was still crowded and decided to find another location that has less crowd but ended up going back here. It was less crowded at 9:40pm as they were about to close. Glad we ate here as the food was good and authentic Malaysian Peranakan (Penang Style). We got the 'Kiam Ah Nui Kay ', 'Char Koay Teow with Marron ' and a 'Teh C Peng '. The Kiam Ah Nui Kay was fragrant and tasty but it would be perfect if it had a bit more salted egg flavour. The Char Koay Teow was tasty and soft. Very Penang style and the flavour was great. Remember to get the spiciness toned down as it was quite spicy already with it toned down and I find it perfect for the flavour. The Teh C Peng was what I expected but a little bit too sweet. Maybe 1/2 to 3/4 sugar would be perfect. Overall experience is good and recommended if you would like to taste real Malaysian Peranakan food"

"I came to this place for lunch with my family last week after a tour around Sydney. We wanted to eat Malaysian food so did a quick search on Google and this place had the highest review located in the CBD area. So I definitely wanted to try it out. <br> <br> Me and my family was greeted warmly by the owner of the restaurant. I knew what I was ordering but my dad and his brother were struggling what to order. But the owner came up to them and told them what is available to eat and what they should try. Since we came a bit late there was very little lunch left for us but there was enough to feed all 5 of us. I ordered the veg Thali plate with roti and the rest of my family ordered the non-veg Thali plate with rice. <br> <br> The owner who is a lovely Indonesian Indian bloke told me that he ran out of 1 veg curry for the Thali, I ordered. So instead he just cooked me an omelet as a substitute. All the veg curries and stir fry veges tasted utterly delicious in my plate. Even the... <a class="read-more" href="#">read more</a>"

"That was a very common place. I ordered a stir fry from the menu and it was very salty and inauthentic. a strange, cheap sauce with strange cheap vegetables (frozen or skilled) and get it even the setting to service. for the same money I would recommend you to go to a food dish."

"What if told you there's a place where you can get soft shell crab smothered in chilli sauce and a fried mantou for $9? Sounds too good to be true. There's a catch this restaurant moves around. I'm referring to newest food truck to Sydney, Yang's Malaysian Food Truck. I had been salivating over the Instagram photos of Yang's soft shell crab for a few weeks now but it wasn't until last Tuesday that the food truck was within walking distance to my office. So, I set off for Hyde Park to satisfy my craving for some Malaysian street food."
