"Power was out when we arrived but the food was absolutely worth the wait. I had a pint of Canadian Club dry from the tap while waiting. My medium rare steak with mushroom sauce was divine! The chips that came with it were great too and the salad was pretty fresh. Thank you Gosnells Hotel Bistro!"

"Came here for dinner one night with family and the service here i must say is terrible. Took us at least 15-20 mins to get some kind of table service. We also had brought a cake in but when we asked if it could b refrigerated they advised that there was a surcharge. But when we settled the bill they charged us for it anyway. Amateur customer service."

"My goodness what a breath of fresh air and a hidden gem in this Westfield. I visited on a Saturday lunchtime. Staff were friendly, the food was delicious and absolutely beautiful presentation (see photos). My dessert was especially good. The venue is clean, tastefully lit, lots of booth seating. There is a full bar here. Funky looking decor with event posters on the walls. I would like to commend the staff especially who served me on the afternoon of the 23rd of January. I haven't had such great service in a long while. My new food spot in Carousel. It's open fairly late too so you can still grab a cake and coffee even after the shops shut. Update: have come here several times since my review and it is still great every time"

"Recently we decided to head down to the local for dinner with our visitors from the country. We had a bad dining experience several years ago at Lakers and as such, it was risky to take our visitors. However, we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! We had several small plates to share (which were amazing) and then our mains later which were very good. Our visitors were impressed. We will be back :)"
