"Very disappointing with the new QR system. Lack of customer support, the cocktails had very little alcohol in them, table took age to delete, and the overall quality of the restaurant has decreased significantly since Kovid. I really liked to go here, but now quite disappointed how things have changed"

"This place is the only place my wife can get gluten free fish'n'chips. The new Australian owners seem to have been on a steep learning curve. The first time we went there I would have rated it 1/5 (airey potato cakes, way overcooked fish, mediocre chips). However, 2 weeks ago the quality has completely turned around. Hopefully not a one off, but potato cakes were excellent, chips well cooked, fish bang on. My wife is extremely sensitive to gluten and had zero reactions. Will try again this week."

"Service was fantastic, came in with my partner and waiter offered for us to go in a quiet dining area which was very thoughtful. Great dining experience, our lovely waiter was able to recommend certain wines according to our taste and preference, and had great timing in coming over to our dining table to grab entrees, pour more water etc.<br/ <br/ <br/ Food quality was great, which they had more on the menu but did definitely satisfy my Italian homemade pasta cravings with a modern twist. Gnocchi was a lovely dish as well, full of flavour and rich, got abit sickening after half of it but my partner and I decided to swap out dishes to have a taste of each other's choices. <br/ <br/ Great place to dine at, waiters who serve with patience, care and have the knowledge. Will definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu."

"A 'No Soya Sauce ' Review.<br/ None of that hand rolls and sushi sushi, Shira Nui is a great location in the suburbs if you don 't want to travel to the CBD to eat great Japanese food. But this review speaks for the omakase.<br/ <br/ We indulged in the omakase using our life savings, but it was totally worth the experience. 9 types of nigiri X 2 and you get 18 carefully crafted pieces, each served and prepared fresh by the chef at a good pace. Each type of nigiri served in the order that it was was not overwhelming as each piece is served to introduce the next and refresh your pallete from the richness of the last. It was more than enough to eat. Waiter staff were polite and helpful to omakase patrons. We hope to return for the omakase, as it is different every once in a while."

"Service here is unbeatable, every staff was so kind, welcoming and went above and beyond to entertain us. The food itself was ok, the broth was nice but not the kind I would come back for. The sides were also just ok, but that's probably our fault for our choices. Come expecting damage to your wallet. Overall, happy I visited but a little disappointing when it comes to the food!"
