"Just wanted to grab a latte and a snack. Came by and all the chicken pies were sold out about 2pm. Back again for the donut and flourless orange cake. Just too much froth for latte. Iced latte was the usual good. So grab a iced latte served in the same cup as a hot one. Surprised but tasted really nice. Not diluted at all! Has a slice of French vanilla slice. Very tasty custard but the crust was not flaky enough. But overall ample varieties for snack or a meal if pies are available. Drinks are good too."

"We were in billys kitchen several times. our ritual is to visit just cuts and then eat lunch or dinner in Billy’s kitchen. the staff under the old line was always very helpful and polite. but this time the service and attitude towards us was terrible. from some reason they didn't want us to sit in the main restaurant with our 6 yo children. Instead, we were deported from the side near the toilets and in a very cold part of the restaurant. that has never happened. we said that the whole restaurant was fully booked on one side. Please note that we have booked in advance. but while we pay the bill almost an hour later, we noticed that there were still at least eight empty tables. the main area was almost empty. it seems that they are happy to keep these tables for hours instead of a mother and dad with a child in this exclusive opposite. that seemed to be a big story. when I interviewed the person in the cash register why we started to put some very big rude person near the toilets, to our conversation and to argue with me. this person should hang her head in candy and find another job. I'm sure we don't have a way of retrieving. by the way, my pizza was boiled and my tee was cold. we even had to find a spoon that was suitable for our child, as the table service was a scandal. how they can guess, this time no tipp. to say that I am angry with this restaurant would be an understatement. I will call knox centre management and see if they can suggest a child-friendly restaurant. I have tried to contact the owner, but the staff that picks up the phone cannot be disturbed. no wonder the place was empty. but they wait, there are more that even gave us the wrong reception. amazing. too many problems in this restaurant."

"Don't do it. They lost the order, so 45 minutes for entre (after complaining) and the another hour for main. The Salmon was $31 and over cooked too dry and crisp. The lamb rack was raw. Sorry guys go back to being a bar or change everything - polite servers in front of house and a quality kitchen staff that an actually cook. You have too much competition in the area to try to be something you are not!"

"Yummy food! Loved it.. Had a fish roll before this, it was a good filling! Wish it was a bit more spicy, I love spicy food! But I get why they would not want the food to be extra hot, they cater for local Non-Sri lankans too. With the Lamprais, It was a good rice dish! Perfect balance of flavors in it. wished there was more pork to go with the rice... Authenticity wise not 100% but its good to fulfill a craving!"

"Absolutely love this place. Makes me feel like I am in Daylesford. The food and service is excellent! Have been there quite a few times. Only negative was that I ordered a serve of scones and was slightly disappointed with the pricing. 2 small scones with small jar of jam and cream for $11.90 which is expensive given their croissant with ham and cheese is only $9.90."

"The layout of the buffet is as such: entree station, mains and dessert. As space is limited in the serving areas, desserts are served after most of the crowd have finished their mains.
