"Say what you will about Tojo's and the Nobu restaurant chain, this place is simply the best around. I travel a lot. I have had the great fortune to visit Japan over 25 times. My review recomndation is, that you visit Zen and try this. don't order. Just let the sushi chef take care of you. Nobu (chef, not the restaurant) is a genius. Say no more."

"I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with their pet policy. Despite having dined with our dog at other establishments in the area, the staff informed us that dogs were not allowed outside due to government rules. We kindly explained our previous experiences, but the response we received was rude and dismissive. We even asked if we could keep our dog inside a box while dining outside, but the request was met with refusal and a negative attitude from the staff.This was a stark departure from our experiences at other restaurants in Vancouver, where we were warmly welcomed with our furry companion. It was disheartening to encounter such an unfriendly attitude and lack of accommodation for pet owners.However, we were pleased to find that the restaurant next door Earls in west vancouver welcomed us with open arms and allowed us to enjoy our meal alongside our dog. Their friendly and accommodating approach made us feel valued as customers and pet owners."

"Is always happy to find a great japanese restaurant! The prices are spot on and the food is fresh and of high quality! I got a combo plate which was great bang for your buck! Lots of food for 15.00$ would I recommend this place hands down yes! I just felt that for lunch on a Saturday the service was a little sluggish."

"4 stars for the flavor1 star for overall experience1 star for value for money0 star for the actual ramen noodlesGood flavorful broth soup with 3 thinly sliced pieces of meat for $22.. which felt like a joke!!!Pretty poor quality noodles.. they were supposedly the thin ones but felt like super thick and dense. They felt like eating under cooked spaghetti.The male server with long hair had an unpleasant attitude.There are much better ramen restaurants around. I do not recommend this one."

"We have tried quite a few of the many many sushi places the North Shore has to offer but we keep coming back to Nishiki Sushi, good value for money and really good food. The staff is very friendly, we love this place!"

"Ki Isu is a Korean-operated Japanese restaurant and is one of the more affordable sushi places in West Vancouver with a large assortment of fusion items on the menu. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quite lively even at half past five, and by 6, there were people waiting for seats and the waitresses were running around the restaurant at an almost-comical speed.
