"We read good things about this cafe/ tapas bar and decided to head there for a lazy Sunday lunch. We arrived without a booking which for lunch is completely acceptable. We had no trouble getting a table and a very friendly waiter showed us to a table inside. There was a lot of people dining when we were there and the hard polished concrete floors meant that the volume got close to excessive a number of times. As far as ambiance goes the modern industrial decor is pleasant but the noise was a bit bothersome. The menu is extensive and includes Spanish, Mexican and more traditional cafe/ bistro fare. We ordered three mains from the lunch cafe menu and a round of drinks. The food was well prepared with fresh and flavourful ingredients. The serving sizes were adequate but a side of fries with a burger or a small salad with the mixed grill would have improved the value and enjoyment of the meal. Overall what we had was good but not excellent. I would love to come back and try some dishes from the tapas selection as I think this is what this venue is known for. In conclusion... I’ll be back to see what more this funky venue has to offer."

"A group of six dined here recently and having heard good things about it, including it being a One Hat restaurant, I was expecting a bit more of this place. Perhaps it is better not to form an opinion beforehand? I am not a lover of risotto but this entree was superb. I wish all risotto was that good. The duck spring rolls were flavoursome but the Saganaki prawn entree was not. The breads and dips were lovely as was the King Salmon Gravlax.The chicken supreme was delicious but the squid ink linguini lacked flavour and substance. Seafood paella for two was nice enough, not too expensive, but the big disappointment was the barramundi. Rather pricey with limp skin and not particularly fresh. The accompanying pippis were tough unable to be pulled from the shell. Two scallops and some carrot could not save this dish. The service was friendly but we found ourselves googling one dish that could not be explained to us. A good variety of gluten free food was available for the one person at our table who has Coeliacs. The atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely. Overall I have said 'very good' but would have rated this as 'good' if there was an option to do so."

"Four of us dined here Saturday night. We dined here a year ago and had a poor experience with slow service, couldn 't care staff and ordinary food. Following my Trip Advisor review, and that of my colleague, they responded with Give us another try. Things...have changed. No they haven 't. Still lousy service, couldn 't care less attitude, poor, sorry no, customer service. Their only improvement, the food was better, not good, just better. There are plenty of places that appreciate you custom, dont 't waste your time coming here"

"Enjoyed the Calamari main. I didn’t mind if we had a little more salad on the side. But generally it tasted nice and crunchy. Service was great and very good atmosphere to have a quiet dinner next to the beach."
