"This cafe is an gem. Lunch today I had the Inca Bowl with chicken and my friend had the special, a salmon quiche which was absolutely delightful and accompanied by a generous glass of passion fruit Kombucha which was a first for me but delicious. Finished off with a coffee. Wish they were in the Gabba and not Buderim."

"Arriving early for an appointment at an adjacent business, we decided to get a couple of coffees from the Coffee Monkey. Imagine the surprise when two cups of really fine coffee turned up, accompanied by a wee freckle chocolate (they are such reminder of childhood) each. After the appointment was complete we decided to head back there for a bite of lunch. It too was tasty, well presented and served with a smile. I went there again yesterday, ordering another type of coffee and another lunch option - both were excellent. I note that one review mentions the limited options but that was explained to me by Andrew, the owner, the reason being limited kitchen facilities. That's ok, you have to work with what you have and they do it very well indeed.I noticed another comment about options in the main street of Buderim (both busy and very noisy from passing traffic - neither of which is a problem in this small shopping centre) being less pricey. Well, I don't know about that. All the prices I saw were very much on par with other establishments and certainly the offer of the day (or possibly the week long) was for food and a coffee for $10. The meal was more than enough for this hungry and thirsty customer and the price was right too. The only shame is that we live quite some distance from Buderim but will certainly return when the opportunity arises. I noticed that many customers were greeted by name and with a smile, and those of us unknown to the staff received a warm welcome as well. Good on you Andrew and staff and well done."

"We went to dinner and were somewhat disappointed that there was no atmosphere in the restaurant for an Italian restaurant. the service was missing from disks that were not deleted by entree. the order was taken on time and the dinner was taken out on time. but the food was...big, chorrizo rissoto was delicious, chicken carving was excellent and the pork bell pizza was great. a total of some improvements required, but large foods"
