"I was just commenting to my lunch mates about how good and fresh (1:30 pm on Thursday) the food was when we looked at the dinning room table next to ours and saw that there was a big stack of pot sticker meat on a plate. It looked like pork. It sat there uncovered and not refrigerated for well over an hour while we dined. It was still there when we left. Our waitress was seen handling cash and swiping her cell phone before going back to the meat mound occasionally and with her bare hands (no rubber gloves), she scooped some meat into a noodle, pinched it closed and put it on a cooking pan, uncovered. She'd wrap a few at a time and then go back to waiting on customers. Then, on the way out after we'd finished eating, we saw a man and a woman sitting at a dinning room table by the door with a pile of green beans stacked on an uncovered dinning room table. They were clipping the ends of green beans and tossing them into a wooden box. There was no washing of the beans that we could see at that stage of preparation. They seemed like nice people and the food was indeed tasty. Would I go back again? Maybe, but only if I can overlook their apparent lack of understanding for fundamental food handling safety procedures."
