"Okay, I just saw The Kite Runner and read Thousand Splendid Suns, which prompted me to notice this restaurant. I had to try and I'm so glad I did it! Everything I and my friends ordered was delish! One was the chicken dish (SMAROOQ CHALLAW – tender breasts of chickens with mushrooms, onions, tomatoes and green peppers) and the other was a lamb dish (QUABILI PALLAW – tender lambs under a hill of PALLAW, filled with carrot strips and raisins). I didn't order anything and fortunately my friends did not protest to share their dishes with me. LOL. I had the Kabob Combo dish that was a wonderful starter to Afghani cuisine. I can't wait to try again, more dishes. The room is large, filled with lots of natural light and feels secret. Service was also pretty good."
