"Best sausage gravy and biscuits I've ever had! And that includes my grandma's shhh don't tell her though . Fluffiest biscuits and really creamy gravy..can't go wrong! I love that their menu is hearty and simple but delicious! I also had the beignets and they were incredible. I would give them 10 stars if I could!"

"I always love the food when I come to Black Bear Diner. Really nice, hot ,fresh positions of food. Nice fluffy waffles with my Grizz plate. I always end asking for to go containers. Customer service was good from the server to the cashier at check out. I brought several first timers and they enjoyed the food as well. Prices are very reasonable."

"Classic 50s diner complete with a working antique ice box. Always friendly and funny staff that does not float. Each menu item I have tried, as well as those who had my husband and numerous friends and guests from the city, are all worthy of rave. (Try the Reuben Sandwich on Grilled Pumpernickel; I'll talk about it months later. The U has a full fleet license and numerous local brews on tap. They make a beautiful bloody Mary and a large monster mosaic (mimosa with a vodka fan). There are also coffee drinks for adults. Regular coffee is delicious, never burned and never too strong. I have always sat in a stand in the original diner part of the place, but there is a back room with table seats. It's fun to watch the staff report as they hack; they seem to really enjoy themselves. They often deal with customers to tell stories, have a laugh and, yes, sometimes break hacks. It will be our favorite breakfast place; the search is over for a diner that has everything: classic diner vibe, an amazing and fun staff and delicious food at reasonable prices. Oh, yeah, and alcohol."

"Never heard of this diner until today, a friend of mine came by and mentioned it so we decided to give it a try, glad we did. A nice welcoming smile from the guy who seat us and a nice server really attentive. We ordered fired chicken , fish and Chips and a cheese philly stake in a wrap, plus Mc and cheese bites, everything was really good and tasty, the chicken was crispy and not grease at all so the fish, the philly wrap was loaded and yummy. But the best part was that super delicious cheesecake!! Super creamy!!! , we will coming back soon for sure."

"My favorite diner. My father once lived in town and we visited here ever since 2002. The breakfast is a genuine, good tasting diner breakfast. Nothing has changed in 20 years. Only gotten better. Unfortunately the music boxes do not work : ..but they keep the true ascetic alive and I love it. The staff is very attentive and kind as well. Will always be back."
