"The menu was not descriptive, and the food was plain. The chicken burrito was smothered in red sauce, which was not listed in the menu. The mild salsa is just odd. Not an experience I will repeat. Waitress was the best thing about the place, very kind lady."

"A philly cheese steak sub with a side of ranch. assumed to have steak, swirling, green paprika and cheese. what I got was a part of steak, tomaten, salat, green paprika. no wobble no cheese and ranch was on him instead of on the side. in the round I got a steak sade on roasted brot. who made it doesn't understand what a philly sub is and my man pizza was burned and they still gave it to us. not very good experience."

"Italy Pizza makes consistently good 'old school ' (classic Brooklyn pizza plus a nice variety of 'specialty ' pizzas. All are available 'by the slice ' or as 'S, M, L pies '. Also offer a selection of Italian staples (i.e. calzone, sausage rolls, garlic knots... I grew up in Greenpoint and this was our 'go to ' pizza place when we were kids and it 's still the best for basic pizza. The flavor of the sauce is just right (not too salty or too 'acidy ' , every time and that makes all the difference. Enjoy!"

"The best hole-in-the-wall pizza place on this planet. the lasagna is like cracks and the pizza is so good, and everything is quite expensive. this place was the only thing worth living in a nearby apartment, because everything was still hot and fresh when they were delivered."

"If you try phoning either of the numbers and don't get an answer don't make the mistake I did and drive to the location(s) hoping that you'll be able to get a pizza made while you wait. If they are not answering the phone...it's because they are inundated with orders and you'll need to wait to hours if you turn up at the van. Apparently those in the know realise that this is the way it works. The pizzas have been good on previous successful visits and it's great to see a busy business, but a putting a message on their phone (or just answering it) to explain the wait time would be not be an unreasonable customer courtesy."
