This is close to home so always an option for us. We went in for dinner as a party of 6 (3 adults, 3 children). It had been a while so I was surprised to see a new logo and sign out front. The hostess had trouble trying to figure out how to seat us, so we go to tour both sides of the restaurant before landing on an appropriately sized table. That was the extent of any issues. I'm a huge fan of Papi's and will sometimes order their empanadas to pick up as a snack or meal on its own. All of our food was very tasty. I was especially happy with the flavor on the pollo vaca frita and the black beans. My 1yo was dancing in her high chair eating the plantains and the teenager ate her ajiaco with no complaints. Not pictured is the tres leches which I didn't taste but my sis-in-law said was prob one of the best she's ever had. *note this meal was on 12/17 and I'm just posting on 3/4
The food was fantastic. I visited with a group of 10, and our waitress did an excellent job managing us all. I will definitely come back. I had been there once before, and it seems they’ve made some nice improvements since then. The atmosphere was pleasant enough for a decent date night, and the prices were reasonable.
