I find it funny more places still don't celebrate happy hour. At jack Astor's still does half price appetizers and cheap drinks from 3-6. The patio is nice and has lots of space, one of the only few in the area. The service is friendly and quick and the food was also pretty decent for a restaurant chain. Recommend checking it out. What Timothée Couturier doesn't like about Jack Astor's:
I ordered a Buddha Salad for my dinner because it comes with quinoa and it’s filling and has protein. When I got my salad, it had no quinoa. It was an expensive lettuce salad. Had a few nuts for protein but not very filling for a dinner. View all feedback.
I was back at this location with colleagues for lunch. The service was good although the place was busy. I enjoyed the Smiling Buddha and I recommend it to salad lovers.
Way overpriced. Received our dinner under 5 minutes of receiving our appetizer. We weren't even 1/4 done our app. Waitress offered to put under heat lamp. One meal was a salad! Will never return.
Our flight was delayed a hour and 15 minutes. our shelle bus was delayed another hour and a half , all in toronto. arrived in hamilton ten thirty, and hungry. going south on centennial parkway to get a restaurant to eat. in we go to jack. very quiet inside. my wife ordered a hot soup because she was not feeling well. she was extremely happy good, ,tasty and hot. i had the american burger with extra cheese and fries. also hot juicy but the fries were a little salty. thhis was our second time there. first time bday party outside on the patio and my neice was very happy with there service that is why we tried it. waitress was cheerful and happy. she kind of lift us up a little.
We stopped in for dinner after shopping, we order chicken parm and the Memphis steak, both were excellent, We finished up with the deep fried Nanaimo bars WOW!!!. Service was great atmosphere was nice.
Some of the best food I've had at a chain restaurant in a long time. We shared the bruschetta bread which was fantastic. We also shared the asiago chicken and it too was done to perfection including the noodles and sauce. Service was average.
