What an amazing restaurant! The Greek salad that came with the main dish was amazing with great Olive oil, tomatoes and a huge piece of feta cheese. I ordered Chicken Sulvaki and my wife ordered ordered the best tasting lamb Gyro's I ever had. The wine selection is eclectic and the Greek wine we had was amazing and a bargain at $50.For the appetizer we shared Kefalograviera and was amazing cheese with great cucumbers... read more.

In beautiful weather you can even eat in the outdoor area.

What Jameson Grady doesn't like about Athens Restaurant:
Really enjoyed the food here. It offers a lot of what other places on the Danforth offer but has really good daily specials (more like home cooked meals.) The service was descent not great. As for the atmosphere...it's more like a guy's hangout. They're mostly men in this place. Not sure if you would come with a date or with wife and family. I would definitely come back here with some buddies to try more of the food. read more.

Darling daughter, handsome husband and little ol' me had just finished a side-splitting session of Laughter Yoga nearby and were in a happy but hungry mood.

"The seat is a big one, but the food is delicious! We tried? bad for you? So? What? All three dishes are out. You are creative fusion courts I doubt that you can have them anywhere else! It's pretty crowded between us, but if we only ordered two, it might have been enough. I think this restaurant will be a new favorite of ours in Ktown."

"Mamajoun is a place I've wanted to try since they first opened. I finally got around to it!The place is part restaurant, offering Armenian pizzas and more, and part grocery store. Offerings include preserved meats and preserved fruits (jams) of all types.Our meal started with an order of Mante (beef dumplings). It was served in a tomato sauce with yogurt and spices. It was a great way to start our meal. Other choices included the Papajoun and the Armenian Pizza, both suggested by Mirhan and both delicious.The Papajoun was a flatbread pizza with ground beef, spices, and a red pepper paste. We added some hot peppers. It was folded and toasted, giving it a nice texture. Yummy!The Armenian Pizza was topped with soujouk (an Armenian sausage), beef, onions, tomato sauce, and cheese.
