The atmosphere is nice - well spaced out yet intimate. It was a popular night with around 3 tables near closing time. The service was polite and prompt. The food was enjoyable, especially on a cold night. The meals we had were quite large and had to take it away. We made our own pizza with salami, ham, olives and cheese. "I went with a friend and the new fit-out in the back room was quite comfortable. The coffee was excellent but we were disappointed by the Banh Xeo that we both ordered. The pancake was overcooked and so hard that I couldn't cut mine and...had to leave it. My friend said that her meal greasy. The service was quick but the coffee was a bit undersized for the price and no one came over to see if we wanted another coffee or asked how our meal was. A bit overrated, unfortunately, but maybe there are other pressures at play. It's an interesting place which used to be an antique and gift shop back in the 1960s when the timber was polished to perfection. It's a bit too rustic and rushed for my liking and the food was just not that good."
